Here's my last 4 years in a nut shell rebuilt engineblew turbos replaced turbos with z1 515s engine knocked so replaced crankshaft main bearings, rod bearings and oil pump still smoked so replaced valve seals I have driven it 20 minutes and it still smokes at idle and driving... How long do I need to drive before old oil is burnt up? In last week I have done compression test, results within spec and yesterday did a leak down test with all clylinders getting a green light. I used an offbrand leak-down tester and it was hard to zero out before doing each cylinder. Would this skew my results? I also looked in the intercoolers no oil.... I am planning on driving on interstate for about 30 minutes to see if that clears it up any. Or taking the exhaust off to see if it is just residual oil in the exhaust making it smoke. Any other sugggestions?
